Here is the official rundown for the upcoming event, "Snake Bite."

Powerhouse Wrestling makes it big return to Worcester on Saturday
night, September 6 and this huge event will take place at the Worcester Armory which is located at 701 Lincoln Street in Worcester,
MA. The action will kick off at 7:00 PM, but get to the building early for a special meet and greet with the wrestlers when
doors open at 6:00 PM. Powerhouse Wrestling has been the main wrestling federation in Worcester for a number of years; many
of today’s stars and wrestling legends have competed in Worcester for promoter Chris Setaro. Some of the stars
that have wrestled for Powerhouse include; the late great Chris Candido, TNA’s monster, Abyss, Abdullah The Butcher,
Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake, Billy Gunn, nWo member Buff Bagwell and many others. On September 6, Chris Setaro
will continue to bring huge stars to Worcester as three former television wrestlers will be appearing along with the stars
of New England.
The Lovely ladies will be in action when Amber defends her PHW Women’s
Championship against Sammi Lane, who has been making waves in Powerhouse ever since her start and now that she has ties
with the M.O.B., she may be unstoppable.

Making his long awaited return to the wrestling world will be Jim
Powers, who made his debut in the WWF in 1984, but it's not until he began to team with Paul Roma when his career began
to take notice. The team of Powers & Roma were called “The Young Stallions", and as a team, they feuded with the
British Bulldogs, Demolition and Hart Foundation. In 1987, the Young Stallions defeated then-WWF Tag Team Champions the
Hart Foundation in a non-title match at NBC’s Saturday Night's Main Event. After the team broke up, Jim Powers did not
have much more success in the WWF. Jim Powers would leave wrestling and then return in WCW during the Monday Night Wars.
In WCW, Jim Powers was managed by Teddy Long but did not get past
mid-card status when the nWo began to run wild in WCW. Jim Powers wants to show the world that he still has it and will take
on "The Widowmaker" Eric Shred on September 6.

Steve Corino is set to appear on Saturday night, September 6 in Worcester
against Gino Martino in a Chain Match, and is no stranger to extreme matches. Corino has wrestled all over the world, winning
many titles in his travels which includes the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. The “King Of Old School” has
wrestled Balls Mahoney, Dusty Rhodes, Justin Credible, New Jack, The Sandman and Tommy Dreamer in some of the bloodiest matches
in ECW history, and plans on showing the “Extreme Strongman” Gino Martino what extreme really means. Not only
is Corino a former ECW World Heavyweight Champion, but he is a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, which historially
marks you as one the best wrestlers in the world. Corino does not have to go hardcore or extreme, but he is a wrestler;
however, if Martino makes him go extreme, it will be a real hardcore match.
|
In what is being called the
show stealer, AWA Fighting World Champion Ricky Landell will put his title on the line against Josh Daniels. Daniels and Landell
will be putting on a pure wrestling match the likes that Worcester has not seen in quite some time.
|
“The Rocket” Fred Curry, Jr. will finally get his shot at the Powerhouse Wrestling Heavyweight
Championship. Champion Big Business for months has been using members of the M.O.B. (Men Of Business) to keep Curry
away from him. Fred Curry, Jr. defeated co-holder of the PHW Tag Team Championship Jimmy "Jact" Cash, and then went on to
have a long feud with Gino Martino and defeatedhim as well. Now, as previously announced by owner Chris Setaro, Big Business
must put the championship on the line against "The Rocket" Fred Curry, Jr.
|
Wrestling legend Jake “The Snake” Roberts will be headlining the upcoming Powerhouse Wrestling
event and has competed all over with world, including Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), Total Nonstop Action
Wrestling (TNA), World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and World Wrestling Federation (WWF). He has feuded with Andre The Giant,
Ravishing Rick Rude, Randy "Macho Man" Savage, "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, The Undertaker and at Wrestlemania VII,
battled with "The Model" Rick Martel in the first-ever Blindfold Match. After leaving the WWF in 1992, he went on
to feud with Sting in WCW, however, left the wrestling spotlight until the 1996 Royal Rumble and wrestled for
another year before once again, leaving the WWF. Recently, Jake Roberts has begun to make a buzz once again in the wrestling
world, which included a 2005 appearance with Randy Orton in Chris Jericho's "Highlight Reel" on RAW and at TNA’s Slammiversary.
On September 6, Jake the Snake looks to continue his roll back to the top by defeating co-holder of the Tag Team Championship,
Jimmy "Jact" Cash, who has been a key player in Powerhouse Wrestling for quite sometime and has wrestled Chris Candido,
Jason Knight, Jerry "The King" Lawler, Spike Dudley and many others on his way to becoming a huge star. However, Jake Roberts
plans on hitting his DDT to Jimmy “Jact” Cash, but Cash plans on using Roberts as another stepping stone to greatness.
